Free parking permit linked to your number plate. The nearest car park (Schoolstraat) is a 3 to 5-minute walk away.
- After you book, we ask for your number plate via Airbnb.
- We register it in the council’s digital parking system. You don’t get a card: scan cars read your number plate.
- The permit is valid from 12:00 on your arrival day until 11:59 on your departure day.
- Different number plate, for example a rental car? Let us know via Airbnb, even at the last minute.
Unloading: Zoutmanstraat itself is paid parking 24/7, checked by scan cars. You can unload at the door, but leave someone with the car or pay briefly at the meter.

Is there a parking space at the house?
Not right outside the door. You get a free parking permit linked to your number plate; the nearest car park (Schoolstraat) is a 3 to 5-minute walk away. The permit is valid from 12:00 on your arrival day until 11:59 on your departure day. Send us your number plate via Airbnb and we register it in the council’s digital system. So you won’t get a parking card.
Where can I unload?
At the front door in Zoutmanstraat. Parking there is paid 24/7 and checked by scan cars, so leave someone with the car or pay briefly at the meter.
I have a rental car or I’m coming in a different car. Can the number plate still be changed?
Yes, even at short notice. Send us the new number plate via Airbnb messages and we’ll update it.
By public transport
Buses run from Leiden Centraal station to Noordwijk aan Zee. Get off in the centre; the house is a few minutes’ walk from there. Check live travel information in the 9292 app.
