Can I book with you without going through Airbnb?
No. Bookings are only possible through Airbnb. That gives you secure payment, Airbnb’s cancellation terms and direct contact with us through Airbnb messages.
How much is a night?
You can see prices and availability for each date on our Airbnb page. We don’t list our own prices on this site.
Is there a parking space at the house?
Not right outside the door. You get a free parking permit linked to your number plate; the nearest car park (Schoolstraat) is a 3 to 5-minute walk away. The permit is valid from 12:00 on your arrival day until 11:59 on your departure day. Send us your number plate via Airbnb and we register it in the council’s digital system. So you won’t get a parking card.
Where can I unload?
At the front door in Zoutmanstraat. Parking there is paid 24/7 and checked by scan cars, so leave someone with the car or pay briefly at the meter.
I have a rental car or I’m coming in a different car. Can the number plate still be changed?
Yes, even at short notice. Send us the new number plate via Airbnb messages and we’ll update it.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 10:00. If the house is ready earlier, we’ll let you know via Airbnb. You can request a later check-out; we arrange that with our cleaners.
How do I get in?
You check in yourself with a key lockbox. You’ll receive the route through the alley to the door and the code via Airbnb shortly before arrival, and they’re also in the welcome guide in the house.
The heating downstairs stays cold. What should I do?
Turn the round white thermostat dial next to the sofa (by the small brown doors) to the right. It controls the heating for the whole house. Upstairs, the air conditioning can also heat.
How does the gas hob work?
Turn the knob on and hold the lighter from the kitchen next to the burner. If that feels tricky, send us a message and we’ll show you.
What kind of coffee machine is there?
A Nespresso. Free capsules are ready for you.
Is there a dishwasher?
No, there’s no dishwasher. There is a washing machine and a small drying rack.
Can I watch Netflix or other streaming services?
Yes. The TV has a streaming box where you log in with your own account, plus IPTV with channels from many countries.
Are towels and bed linen included?
Yes, both.
Can I bring my dog?
Pets are not allowed as standard. If you have a special situation, please ask via Airbnb before booking.
How do I pay the tourist tax?
On site. The instructions and the amount are above the fridge.
What can we do with a young child?
The beach is just around the corner. Our guests’ other favourite outings are Kidszoo in Noordwijkerhout, Monkey Town in Warmond, Binnenzee swimming pool with the playground behind it, and Drievliet family park towards The Hague.
Can I stay longer, for example a month?
Yes, guests regularly stay for several weeks. Choose your dates on Airbnb; you’ll also see any weekly or monthly discount there.
